The nature of currency trading calls for a fast internet connection since trading information sent and received is extremely time sensitive. A 56k connection will suffice when trading on the DealStation™ alone, however performance may dramatically drop when additional internet enabled applications are operating, i.e. Internet browser, charting software, and news service.

An ISDN or broadband connection to the Internet is recommended as this bandwidth is capable of running DealStation™ and other supporting applications without creating connection bottlenecks.
